We primarily source our plant-based and natural ingredients from France, then from the rest of Europe . When we aren’t able to find the best active ingredients required by our phytochemists here, we look farther afield. Sourcing certain ingredients from countries with a low Human Development Index means we can support Fair Trade programmes worldwide, encouraging local populations to develop their know-how and economy, while respecting their ecosystems.
When it comes to sourcing our ingredients, we prefer traceable ingredients from sustainable sources. As a bare minimum, we give priority to extracts from certified organically grown plants or their certified organic extracts. This helps us formulate the cleanest beauty products possible. When ingredients aren’t organically farmed or certified organic, we work with our suppliers to help them move towards organic methods.
