Using a targeted body scrub, polisher, or exfoliator is the first step in your body beauty routine for smooth, fresh skin. What do body scrubs do?

Body scrubs and exfoliators polish skin to remove dead skin cells and impurities. They slough away dead skin cells and impurities on the surface of the epidermis. Skin is left cleansed and exfoliated, and better able to breathe. By regularly using body exfoliators, your skin will feel soft, smooth, and well primed to absorb body lotions and creams. Body scrubs can also improve the effectiveness of any body firming products you might go on to apply. Once or twice a week, whilst bathing, take the time to exfoliate using our Clarins exfoliating scrub. Gently massage into dry or damp skin; these treatments work to purify and stimulate skin. Rinse well, and finish off with a blast of cool water to revive and help tone your body.

How often should I use a body scrub?

For best results, we recommend using a body scrub or exfoliator once or twice a week. This frequency is ideal for sloughing away dead skin cells and promoting cell renewal without over-exfoliating.

When should I use a body exfoliator in my routine?

Use your body exfoliator in the shower or bath on damp skin after cleansing. Gently massage in upward circular motions, focusing on rough areas. Rinse thoroughly and follow with your favourite Clarins body moisturiser or oil to lock in hydration and maximise the benefits.

Which Clarins body exfoliators are for me?

At Our Clarins Laboratories, we have developed a range of body exfoliators for all skin types, which all include natural-origin ingredients. Depending on your skin’s needs, you might like to try the revitalising, energising Tonic Sugar Polisher, packed with essential oils for a stimulating, toning effect.
