The first day I thought it was good but the second day I had an itchy red spotty breakout on my jawline , so I am hoping the local stockist will take the unopened bottle back. Very disappointed as I have only used Clarins foundation for so long, please bring back Ever Matte as this one cannot replace it .

Thanks to Clarins this foundation achieves which I thought was the impossible. It's as light or heavy as you want it. It goes on super smooth makes your skin appear to be flawless. I have stopped my forever search for the perfect foundation - as I've found it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ariadne from Great foundation but... I have come to the end of my first bottle of Skin Illusion foundation and so far it has been the best foundation I have ever used. However, I have to give it only 4 stars for the infuriating bottle design. I still have foundation left to last at least couple of weeks, but I can't get it out of the bottle with the pipette or any other means. I can only get very small amounts of the foundation at any one time making it impossible to apply the product on thin even layer. I now have to put up with uneven foundation until I can't get any more product out of the bottle or waste the remaining contents (about 1/6) and buy a new bottle. Shame because I do really like the product, but the bottle design fails the product in this case.

I have been using skin illusion 112 amber very happily for many years and my last bottle was running out, after reading the reviews of the new design I got a small sample to try from my clarins counter, when i say small sample it was only enough for a days trial - I noticed the consistency was very thin and watery but decided to bite the bullet and purchased a full size foundation due to the mixed reviews with some liking it and some not - I am now on my 49th day of using this bottle and it has not lasted anywhere near as long as the old style, there is quite a bit of product left in the bottom of the bottle but I can’t get to it with the stupid pipette design and due to the design/style of the bottle neck I can’t angle the pippete to reach it!! The new foundation is very thin and watery and the colour is definitely not the same as the old style, it’s darker even though I was told I was the same colour in the new style as before and goes patchy during the day - I have managed to buy a few bottles of the old pump style foundation online as I will not be buying the new design again especially if I have to buy a new foundation every month and a half!!! PLEASE bring back the old consistency and pump style of skin illusion

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maty from Stop! The! Press! A potential holy grail! At last! So I very rarely leave reviews however I was compelled to for this product because it's AMAZING! I have been searching for my perfect foundation since the dawn of time and I finally think I have found it! My problem is I love a dewy finish but have combination skin so I usually get too shiny with dewy foundations! I had tried the previous formula of this and although the finish was great, I had the usual problem by the end of the night! I've since tended to go for longwear foundations but when this came out I thought I bite the bullet and give it a go! I'm SOOOOOO glad I did! This is such a lovely foundation! It glides on like a dream, smells divine and the finish is just gorgeous! Not glowy, just nicely dewy, hydrated and natural with sheer-medium buildable coverage...perfect! I actually quite like the pipette too! Although I agree a pump is more practical, this is smaller and lighter and looks more chic! Now for the shades...there is such a wide range with different tones! I have cool tones and completely disagree with all that 'yellow tones are flattering for everyone' rubbish! I like my foundation to match my skin and 109 matches mine perfectly! In fact I've never found such a perfect match before! I do still get a little shiny and it transfers occasionally but these are to be expected with a dewy foundation and both things happen far less compared to the previous version. The new one actually lasts surprisingly well! In short...I really am in love with this product! I honestly think I can call off the search as I've finally found a dewy foundation that works for me ! Don't listen to the negative reviews...this product is far superior to the previous one! Give it a try! :)

I loved true radiance but can no longer get it. I bought Skin Illusion but I find it watery and doesn't provide the same cover and glow. Please bring back true radiance.
