Protecting the soil and biodiversity is a longstanding commitment at Clarins. That’s why we have always given priority to plant-based active ingredients sourced from organic agriculture, grown using sustainable farming methods that respect nature and the health of the soil. Our mitracarpus extract is organically-certified and obtained using a natural and environmentally-friendly extraction process. Because our commitment to responsible agriculture concerns both plants and the people who grow them, in 2016, Clarins set up a fair trade supply chain in Burkina Faso in partnership with Jardins du Monde with the aim of equipping local health centres and improving access to water for the local population.
