Rated 3 out of 5 by Alis from slighty disatisfied bought extra firming as used skin illusion and this now is absolutely rubbish, Skin Illusion new formula leaves my face all blotchy/ wears off within an hour too watery. This is the alternative . it is ok not brilliant i do not like the flat look on my face now , skin illusion was more healthy looking. I will be looking for another foundation, probably Chirstian Dior Nude Air, As although watery. Last all day and has the same nice compexion look,

I use shade 110 and the shade looked the same so, I agreed to to try this. It was OK but with my mature skin (aged 57) it did not give the finish of the Extra Comfort. Clarins....WHY DO YOU DO THIS? I understand the need to develop new products but this is the third time now that I have needed to choose an alternative product due to discontinuation and it hasn’t been as good. For the first time in years, I have bought foundation from another company. And I like it....but it’s NOT my Clarins Extra Comfort.

I have used this shade for years after trying so many other makes...now it is no longer available I will have to start trying other makes again as the only Clarins 103 foundation available now does not have very good reviews.Maybe some samples of alternatives could be sent to those of us stuck now?

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anneliese from Ok I have just started using this extra firming foundation as they took the old skin illusion of the market and brought a new version out which is rubbish, slides of face goes patchy its like wearing moisturiser with a hint of colour in it as for the extra firming foundation not so good ok, the only one I liked was the old skin illusion was the best foundation I ever used on the market as I have very sensitive skin, why do you keep changing foundations listen to your customers we are the ones who wear I'm sick of clarins discounting there foundation especially all the good ones

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hayley282 from Shade 103 Have loved this foundation for years and am devastated that my shade 103 has now been discontinued. 103 is ivory and perfectly works for the pale English rose complection. The next shade offered is 107, so dark it leaves a tide mark! The new skin illusion doesn't work for my more mature skin. As other reviewers have mentioned clarins need to listen to their customers and not keep withdrawing well loved products with no notice. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

To be honest I am frankly getting fed up of Clarins discontinuing one foundation after another, the Extra Firming foundation is the only good one for mature skin. If it is being discontinued, is this for good permanently or is it being relaunched? The problem with Clarins is that they constantly develop new compact foundations that require a sponge applicator, that completely excludes many consumers who are latex allergic and cannot use these applicators. Time Clarins sat up and paid attention to its customers.
