Horsetail Equisetum arvense
Location:
France
Horsetail is a flowerless antediluvian herb that reproduces itself through spores. Its favourite habitat is damp, sandy soil. The plant owes its name to the appearance of its very slender stems. It has been known for its remineralising properties since the Middle Ages, due to its high silicium content. In cosmetology, its stimulating, draining and firming properties are now well known.
