Disappointed First time I've ever used this product and I'd hoped it was as good as all the other Clarins products, which I love. This foundation is very chalkey, leaves lines and doesn't stay put for very long, it wears off too quickly and not very matte at all. 12 June 2013

Truly Gutted! I am so upset I feel like crying, I can't believe Truly Matte has been discontinued. I suffer from Rosacia a fair few years back spent a good 2 years and many a time a sore face with testing looking for a foundation that would hide my constantly sun burnt looking face well enough to be able to have the confidence to go out without people saying, "oh dear, had a few too many last night did we". I was so pleased after my search to at last find a foundation that not only hid my flawed skin it did not irritate it either, which was a miracle as it is obviously so very sensitive. I recomended it on many Rosacia forums and like me, many sufferers finally found a foundation saviour. I loved the finish too, I am 42 and am gaining wrinkles so avoid powders that sit in my creases, but I love a matte finish, Truly Matte gave me everything no other, not even the specially made for Rosacia sufferers could. I have tried this new alternative but it is good but just not the same, it does not cover my inperfections as well and I cannot get a good colour match. Why oh why when a new product is introduced does an old favourite have to be discontinued? I never have and never will understand, and this time it is more than just an inconvenience for me as Truly Matte was more than just make up, it was my mask to enable me to face the world. :o( 23 November 2012

Love it I bought this for my wedding day & it was perfect the whole day. Continue to use it for long work days & it stays perfect from morning to late at night. Love it! 15 September 2012

Disappointed Gutted that Clarins have discontinued the Truly Matte 02 Pale Ivory foundation. Even the lightest shade in this is too dark for my pale Celtic skin. Will have to look to other brands. 28 June 2012
