Really pleased with this powder! I have been on the lookout for a powder that mattifies the skin but doesn't leave it feeling dry and uncomfortable and I think my search is finally over! The Light Translucent shade matches my skin tone perfectly, and the powder does a great job of evening out my skin whilst looking really natural, as if I'm not wearing make up. The powder has a soft finish on the skin and I really like the compact too. Well done Clarins! 21 April 2013

Terrible product I was a massive fan of the old shine stopper. I bought this product 4 weeks ago. It doesn't last as long as the original, needs to be reapplied every few hours and has an obvious powdery finish. The rectangular compact makes you brush from the center, causing the middle to wear first. I opened my compact yesterday to find that the outside powder had crumbled and fell out all over me..... I will not be buying this again and would not recommend this. 09 March 2013

Not as good as previous product I have been buying Clarins products for over 20 years but am really disappointed with this powder compact which has replaced the previous oval shaped face compact. The colour choices are now more limited & much paler with no colours really coming close to what I have been using for years. My main criticism though is the new rectangle compact shape. The rectangle applicator sponge is not as easy & fluid a shape to use as an oval & is particularly uncomfortable around the eye area. The rectangular shape also means that more product is used from the centre of the compact first (rather than easy, more even rotund sweeping movements from an oval) which results in earlier disintegration of the overall contents & therefore doesn't last as long. I will be looking for an alternative product until Clarins rectify this problem. 04 November 2012
